Wedding Ceremonies

Please note, celebrant led wedding ceremonies in the UK are not legally binding. You will therefore need to have a legally binding registration of marriage.

A low-key statutory marriage registration can be carried out at your local registry office prior to your celebration ceremony with me.

  • For wedding vow renewals or commitment ceremonies - no official documentation is required.

Fees

I will hold a provisional booking for five working days - at the time of booking my services you will be required to complete and sign a booking agreement and provide a non refundable booking fee of 50% of the service cost. 

  • Once signed agreement and the non refundable deposit received your booking and date of ceremony will be confirmed.

Outstanding balances and cancellation fees.

  • Four weeks prior to the ceremony the balance of the remaining 50% is due to be paid in full. 

  • As stated all deposits paid to me are non-refundable. 

  • Should you wish to change the date and I have availability I am happy to consider a change up to three months prior to the wedding ceremony.

  • If a cancellation is made three months before the ceremony the entire fee, confirmed in the booking agreement will be due.

Should for any reason, myself, the celebrant commits to refunding the deposit if for any reason is unable to go ahead with the booking and if no replacement can be found.

Copyright

I maintain full copyright of the written ceremony however, agree to allow the couple to use and share it for their own personal use after the ceremony.

Non Discloure Form

My booking form includes an option for you to provide an NDA - Non Disclosure Form - should you not wish to grant me permission to use any appropriate wedding photographs, testimonials, and your ceremony story for publicity purposes, including and not limited to: websites, blog posts, Facebook and Instagram.

Privacy and Security

Privacy and security of individuals and their personal information are taken very seriously and every reasonable measure and precaution is taken to protect and secure the personal data that is processed. According to the GDPR laws (General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679) the celebrant adheres to safeguarding all personal data. Personal details (name, address, and contact information) will be kept securely for six months after the ceremony date. After this period all details will be securely removed from my systems and paper documents will be shredded.
