Hello, I’m Lisette, a Professional Independent Celebrant
My journey into this special role began with a deeply personal experience — when my beautiful mum passed away. In the midst of deep sadness and grief, our family turned to a celebrant. Their kindness, support, and gentle guidance helped us through the most difficult time and, together, we created a ceremony that truly celebrated her life.
That experience changed me. It showed me just how important it is to have someone who listens, understands, and can help craft a farewell filled with love, dignity, and meaning. It sparked a passion in me to offer the same care and support to others.
Now, as a celebrant, it is my honour to walk alongside families and individuals, helping to create ceremonies that are personal, heartfelt, and unique — whether that’s a farewell, a wedding, a naming day, or any of life’s milestone moments.
I received intensive training from The Celebrant Circle and whom I continue to work with to develop and enhance the ceremonies I create. Being a Celebrant is so much more than just officiating at a life changing event. For me, being a Celebrant is very much about supporting you in times of great joy and sadness by delivering a meaningful bespoke and unique ceremony which creates everlasting memories.
