About Lisette
Let me introduce myself and tell you more about why I trained as a Professional Independent Celebrant and what that title means to me.
My name is Lisette and having experienced using a celebrant for my beautiful mum, witnessing first hand how, during a time of deep sadness and insurmountable grief that goes with the loss of a loved one, their support and guidance helped create a celebration of life to be proud of. Having someone helping, listening and guiding us through all the processes involved, just made everything so much easier and it created a passion in me to want to do the same for others.
I’ve also been lucky enough to witness the joy of seeing the special people in my life celebrate their love for another and to also witness the unconditional love that a child brings.
These experiences along with my passion for helping people create memories combined with my love of storytelling is ultimately what led me to becoming a celebrant.
I received intensive training from The Celebrant Circle and whom I continue to work with to develop and enhance the ceremonies I create. Being a Celebrant is so much more than just officiating at a life changing event. For me, being a Celebrant is very much about supporting you in times of great joy and sadness by delivering a meaningful bespoke and unique ceremony which creates everlasting memories.
